Just got myself 'War of the Worlds' on Dvd and although it's one of my alll time favs.
It has to have one of the 'Dumbest' lines i've ever heard in a film in there.

Ann Robinson is stood next to the 'Meteor', Gene Barry gets out of his car and says
"THAT'S IT OVER THERE !!". I mean Please !!. rolleyes.gif

This 'Thing' has crashed to earth in a 'Screaming Fireball', obviously left a massive
crater and is still 'White Hot'. Must be visible for miles and have hundreds of people
wandering around it.

And all he can say is "THAT'S IT OVER THERE !!". I keep expecting Ann Robinson to say
something like "Oh, you think so ??" tongue.gif

So whats your favourite dumb line ??
The Doctor
ROFL. laugh.gif

Classic.

I always remember a cheesy line in Star Trek: TNG and Worf says something like:

'Those horrible type soldier things' or something like that? laugh.gif

I think the episode was 'Skin Of Evil' where the character Tasha Yar dies.
Jethro
From Jason X

"It's okay, he only wants his machette back" ... which of course you say about some reanimated pyscho who has just dispatched a whole unit of marines in quick time smile.gif

You'll find this one in most films. The hero or heroine of the movie is standing there waving his arms and shouting 'C'mon, this way, hurry' to crowds of clueless people runnning from the obviously huge/dangerous/ loud spider/alien/meteor that is destroying everything in its path behind them. Well they're not going to run toward it are they? Thats what makes a hero/heroine better than the rest of us.
