I've read mixed reviews about this, it seems to be a fantastic idea based on Alan Moore's graphic novel. Anyone like to comment?

Ok, I have some mixed feelings about this un. Don't get me wrong. I love the graphic novels and the film was rich in head nods and details. (Spot the poster stating that the strange plumes seen on Mars were probably volcano's) The action scenes were exciting. the hero's original. Its just. . . . . The 'character advancement' scenes between action sequences became turgid. Like driving a BMW at 120 down the M4 and slapping down to 5mph every so often for someone to tell you how good the car is..

I'll try to rent it this weekend. Why can't they show films of this age on Sky Box Office. £3.75 for films that have been in rental shops for 6 months is not good value IMHO.
