so which is it for you?

and why???? laugh.gif

I tried to get into Babylon 5 once a few years back, it didn't just do it for me, even after buying a couple of the videos.

DS9 is much better IMO. smile.gif

I voted for Bab5, because I found that although it took me a while to get into it, once I did I was totally absorbed by it.

I think with Star Trek you can watch individual episodes and still be able to understand it, but Bab5 had a quite a complicated plot line running through it. Things that were puzzling at the beginning started to make sense near the end.

Besides, G'Kar was a fascinating character wink.gif

Agreed there, a lot of ST you can see as standalone episodes. DS9 had a very detailed plot though especially running through the last two series or so, great stuff.

Maybe I'll try B5 again from the very beginning. biggrin.gif

Don't you think this is a little biased towards ST? wink.gif

I don't like either.... ooops, of to hide now laugh.gif
Dax
biased!! never! laugh.gif

the reason there are so many ST options is because each ST is different, I like some more than others I must admit and there was only one B5!

to me a cheap imitation of ST!!

Although I enjoyed DS9 I think it has to be B5. It had a 5 year plot, everything was planned in advance and therefore very logical. It's the closest thing to a sci-fi novel that's ever been on tv. I find Star Trek often compromises its sci-fi elements to gain non sci-fi viewers, B5 ploughed its own path.
