I'm a big fan of this CGI series. Some episodes were shown looped on Sky1 a couple of years back but I've bought the dvds since.
It's partly based on the film Starship Troopers and the novel by Heinlein of the same name. The series follows the fortunes of a space military platoon in the fight against invading insect like aliens. Its really well done with some great action scenes.

Yes, my daughter and I used to enjoy watching this on a Saturday morn. One of the few things we'd get up early for. Beautiful graphics, but based a lot more on the Film that the Novel I'd say. I'll keep an eye out for the DVD's (after X-Men evolution

)

There are currently 6 volumes available. There are 6 episodes per dvd with a running time of about one and a half hours. Very enjoyable.

They have them in MVC shops if you have one near you. Try the net, cheaper there but I think they cost about £10 each. Good commentories on them too.

I'd also like to recomend the new star wars clone wars animation currently doing the showen on Toonami. Was abit doubtful about the style but it looks realy good and from this ep 3 has a lot to ive up to. Enjoyed Rough necks very much. The last ep I remember seeing on sky was when the bugs had just landed on earth. What's going on in the sixth volume?

Only seen one of these. Very fun. Better than starship troopers followup movie.

That film sequel seemed very low budget but then it didn't feel like a sequel.

Do they ever ? No, hang on. I enjoyed X2. But most 'sequels' just leave me concussing my self gently against the chair in front.
