Back in the 90's research was sone by a guy named Schuman into the Alpha Waves of 'Healers' and their Patients. Right across the globe from all different Healing Traditions.

Seems after a few minutes, both the Healer and Patients Alpha Waves start to fall into synch. This I can understand as I often find I'm breathing in synch with a patient during a Reiki session. However.

The part I find exciting is the fact that the Alpha waves fall into line with the same frequency and beat as the Earths Magnetic Field.

As the field is currently at its weakest in Centuries and we're due a flip It makes you take a second look at all those stories of 'Wonder Workers' in the dim and distant past.

Read quite a few interesting articles in New Scientist yesterday.
The first was about how, when the magnetic field does flip, it doesn't just flip, it decays and then rebuilds. This would obviously have issues with the environment due to the fact that the magnet field protects our planet from various nasty radiation types etc, and so at its minimum nasty stuff would get through. However, the article goes on to say that the solar wind, in such a situation would itself interact with the planet and generate a replacement magnetic field above our atmosphere, thus no danger.
The second was about how electrical fields seem to be used by the body to control natural healing ( of wounds etc at least ). Perhaps a link to what Reiki manipulates ?
