Any body else reading this book yet ? So far I'm about 100 pages in and am enjoying it. Hopefully it will continue well in this book, as well as in the concluding volume, and be on a par with the Nights Dawn Trilogy.
Some strange/different ideas in it, though - for instance humans don't travel between planets using starships - they go by Train through wormholes which always interconnect the planets humans have settled on. I just hope the train companies involved don't have anything to do with the ones that currently run the trains here in the UK.

Then here's to hoping he's a tad more gentle to his characters than he was in Nights Dawn
