I've seen someone else talk somewhere about a weird thing with numbers, which I don't understand, but I have one too.
The number is 237.
If I look at a clock, it's 2:37; if I'm reading a book and look at the page, its page 237.
It's a really weird thing - I'm not making a concious decision to look at those times/pages, it just somehow seems to happen.
Weird. What's going on?

Sometimes life just seems to have these themes and patterns. it almost makes you think that you've discovered the hidden meaning of life but there again it could just be coincidense!!!!

With me it's 138. That was hubby's police number.
What I think happens is that a certain number might have significance for you (maybe even for a trivial reason) and although you might see lots of numbers during the day it's that significant number that registers in your mind, so you think it must have a meaning, but you've forgotten all the other 'insignificant' numbers. If you get what I mean

Hi Scully
Yes, I do get where you're coming from with that explanation (and I think you're right) - but it's still weird!

That's a strange one Moon Dancer I know sometimes if we're drawn to things in particular, we often then notice they're there, etc. But with your numbers that sounds different.
Maybe they're lucky numbers for you, use them on the lottery?

That is spooky - my experiences are more first hand ghostie stuff. I have soooo many stories to share as have been on paranormal investigations and seen/heard some very freaky stuff! We often visit Canewdon Church and Hadleigh Castle both are very very old and canewdon is well known for witches. We have captured orbs and had freaky things happen at both locations. Also have a story about an investigation in north wales i wasn't on but my bf was and loads happened!

The whole number thing is a system of magic and Divination now known as numerology.......it was crated by Pythagoras "The world is built upon the power of numbers" ......so he once said......apparently!!!....lol Numerology is used to analyze a person's character, assess weaknesses, strengths and natural girfts; predict the futre etc...........But I don't know much else about it!!

Because you made me aware of this I've not noticed a number thing but I have noticed an obsession with the letter S, slightly odd don't you think.

Ooooer...so the S keeps appearing like the number thing?
But, do we all have favourite numbers (slightly different to the topic thread) and favourite letters?

I wouldn't say it was my favourite letter, I have now decided that it is the letter who is obsessed with me not the other way round. Its every where I look, I think I have a stalker problem.
