Yes Ogre, I used to be a member too, have had a look at their offers but its the same stuff all the time. No real sci-fi books at all. I note that they're still offering Judge Dredd collections, this is the same stuff they've been peddling for the last 15 years at least!
Now that most bookshops sell books dirt cheap and places such as Amazon offer great deals online then I think bookclubs days are numbered. You usually end up with book of the month at some point wether you want it or not.

Ah yes. Book of the Month.

And those 'special club editions' about 2/3 the size of the normal edition.

I may be tempted to update my Dean Koontz collection though
I think that man just writes books to fill bookclub magazines. Some of his stuff is good but, bloody hell, enough is enough.
