Now it is Sunday and I won't be spoiling anything for anyone, did anyone see most haunted? The executioners sword was really interesting and it reminded me of a story that I was told as a youngster, I shall try and relay as best as I can.
In most haunted Derick stated that the spirit accompanied the sword, which was how this spainard came to haunt the property. Apparently my grans sister's son, was starting to get terrible poltergeist activity, I don't know too much detail about this, I just know it was really bad. Well anyway they had to go through everything that had changed etc since these occurances had began, as they had lived in their house for many years, with no trouble at all. It was narrowed down and turned out to be some very old victorian clothing they had been given, for some reason.
My dad and grandad, took these clothes to a remote area, and proceeded to burn them, only initially they wouldn't, they kept pouring petrol on the clothes and igniting until eventually they did. Apparently spirits can attach themselves to an item but are not restricted to that one item, they can just as easily get attached to something else. Since then my parents would never purchase anything second hand, yes including antiques, as you never know what you might be really bringing home.
As far as I know this is a true story

Interesting story Shadow, I've heard too that old objects can have entities attached to them. My mother never buys stuff from antique shops because of this, even though she has interest in some of these items.

That happened with my old next door neighbour.
The woman who owned the house before them had died in her bed so all of her stuff had been left in the house when my friends moved in. They decided to sell most of the stuff in a jumble sale (it was a small comunity and everyone knew everyone) and they sold it to a young couple. They came back 3 days later saying that the vases they had brought from them had smashed themselves. Apparently they had put them on top of the TV and while they were sitting there one night the vases started to shake uncontrolably and then they smashed!
The couple gave them back to my next door neighbour and they glued them back together and have them in their own living room now.....nothing has happend to them since!!!........weird eh?

I had a friend who had problems with a mug
it belonged to her father in law, it had been in the cupboard for ages after his death, and when my friend was getting ready to move the mum in law binned it
well, the atmosphere changed and my friend saw the dead dad looking out of the side window looking at the wheelie bin
needless to say she retrieved it and calm was restored, they took the mug with them when they moved to.
this guy really wanted to stick around, one day my friend had a shower and got out and the mirror was misted up, and his initals were written on the glass, she had polished it that morning!!!

totally freaked her, she did night shifts and that night she ran into work with still wet hair and I said you look like you have seen a ghost!
you can imagine her reply!!

Amazing.
I love true life ghost stories. I still cant understand how people dont believe or refuse to even accept the possiblity as there is so much evidence out there to prove it !

I wonder if spirits are something to do with energy trapped within objects/walls etc? Perhaps some aspect of a living person is 'recorded' when they die, and those of us sensitive to the energy can 'read' it - a bit like a laser beam reading a DVD.

Hey Master,
I've often wondered something similar myself. I think there is definitely something to a lot of this paranormal stuff, quite what I don't know. I also believe out of fear, or the strong desire to know a lot of people get easily mistaken (its the same with ufo's). But, what I do know exists without a shadow of a doubt is energy. It is very powerful, there are many different types and they can be used.

p.s. I'm not referring to eastern electricity by the way.

HI,
Did anyone see most haunted tonight (Tue)?
Well although not the best episode, it was really interesting for me to watch as not only did I grow up near there but I've also visited the place a few times. Its really cool watching some of the tanks get driven about out the back. I have to say though when visiting there I never experienced anything, or even sense anything and neither has anyone I know. I hope they go to West Beckham workhouse next that is very haunted up there and really scary! Thats if its still standing.
Shadow
damn missed it!
remind me to set the vcr on sunday!!
wanted to see that one to as it looked a bit different from the others!

I have to say I was very lucky and didn't lose the telly. Sadly though I've had a really bad tummy bug and kept having to go hurl in the bathroom. Hence to say I'm hoping they repeat it again soon. They do normally so I don't see any reason why they wouldn't this time.
Hope everyone had a better New Years than me.

I had a pretty dull New Years Eve actually Shadow, Mrs Eckie fell asleep on settee at 11:30pm and there was nothing on the tv. I longed for the years when going out on this night was fun. It was Millenium Eve I think that spoiled it, people didn't go out and found the joys of house parties. The start of the 21st century was nothing like the sci-fi films predicted!
Me and Mrs Eckie had found one of the 2 pubs open in our local town and I went onto the street at 5 mins past midnight after watching the scenes in London on the big tv. There was one lonely taxi driver standing in the street near his cab shouting Happy New Year
haha!!
its been repeated tonight and I just manged to whack a video in!!!!!!
wayhay!!!
our new year was dull to not that I minded, we couldnt see any fireworks coz of the snow clouds, we just saw all the flashes reflecting off the snow, very strange experiance
we did have a snow ball fight though just after midnight!

I watched Most Haunted the other week, got halfway through it thinking 'yeah, yeah, he must have read up on the place before coming' then the cameraman goes into an old storeroom, and blow me! if a plastic crate didn't just shift itself across the table by an inch in front of him! he scarpered back upstairs sharpish, and left me wondering ...

Too much stage school if you ask me. At some points she even seems to be afraid of the air!
just to let you know the new series is starting soon, I stuck it on the calender!
did you see this weekends live one?
WOW!!

things flying through the air!
spoons and lumps of coal, very entertaining!!

yes she cried!

Well I watched that last Most Haunted episode. Hmm, not sure about that spoon...
However, just because I didn't believe that doesn't mean I don't believe!
I've had far, far worse things happen to me in person.

Bbrr, shivering at the thought of it...

But the way the spoon moved doesn't make sense - no twists, spins nothing. we have tried re-creating this and cant get the spoon to move the way it did on most haunted - i must say i do think that was paranormal.
