No I haven't sen it, mainly because it had bad reviews when it came out, as have most recent Kevin Costner films. Is it better than they say?

It had bad reviews????
I never knew that! i think its a great film - its very emotional as well as spooky - its basically about his wife trying to contact him about something really important from beyond the grave - its a great film!!! ive not met anyone that didn't like it yet (despite it being kevin costner)

Yes it did have bad reviews, I don't mind Kevin C myself, he's quite a good actor, I was disappointed in his version of the Postman though, it was a good novel, seen that? Waterworld was ok.

I have never seen dragonfly but when I next head off to choices I shall give it serious consideration. It sounds like an interesting plot. I have found quite a few films that have had bad reviews really good and vice versa.
Call me sad, but I loved the film The Postman.
Didn't realise it had a book version though...

Yes but cant say to much or wont be worth you watchinmg it!!
Basically they are very earthly people (both doctors), she was working with the red cross in another country and their bus crashed.
Gradually wierd things happen and children in the ward she used to work in see her in their near death experiences when they flatline and she has told them to tell joe (hubby) she needs to contact him urgently.
dont wanna sayy to much and i explain it badly but its a great film!!!

Kev's ok, he just needs to make more interesting films, he's probably a better director than an actor

Ok I've finally seen it, although predictable, it is a very enjoyable film. Thanxs for that Laurakafoxy.
My husband enjoyed it with me and we have made a pack that if there is something one of us has to tell the other but we are dead, then we will write a note and not scare the b'jesus out of em, like the wifey did in that film.
