Supposedly the follow up to Pitch Black, this follows the adventures of our shy and retiring Furian, Riddick as he gets caught up in a Religious Crusade.
The violence is (for the most part) dare I say quite stylish and slick. One sequence was as breathtaking as an aerial ballet. But the film has plenty of humour as well.
Directed by the writer (or written by the director) some sub stories appear to have been edited by his Mother-In-Law, but still survives some ham handed treatment.
