Full Version: Ancient Prophecies

Ogre
Now anyone here will know that I'm not really the Sci Fi channels greatest fan. However, this week at about 6pm we've been catching an hour long program on translations of ancient prophecies. One the other day was about the Native American prophecy about the 'Days of Cleansing'. Quite disturbing stuff about the Pacific tectonic ring going up in the near future. I was particularly impressed with the guys who said New York is going to be Tsunamied (picking up the Gran Canaria land slip). 4 Native American and 4 White 'seers' were asked to draw the map of America in the near future.. All came up with much the same. No recognisable West Coast, much changed East Coast and the Mississippi Inland Sea.

Normally I poo poo this sort of thing. But today we're starting to buy a few extra tins of food etc............

Last night included a segment about how survivalists are hiding their below ground shelters so well they can't find them at a later date laugh.gif

Give it a try ? Good for a scare.

I've not caught these particular programs but have seen a few UFO docs on the channel. Most of them have been the usual rubbish with self confessed experts telling us all about the mystery but its good entertainment anyhow. So Ogre, no use in buying land cheap on the West Coast of USA then hey? wink.gif

No worries.

I browsed a Survival forum last night. Facinating stuff. Also some interesting ideas. It's not all 'care and maintenance of Man Traps'. I had everything from building a loo. Converting your car to run on wood. Storing old cooking oil for lighting. Also self heating meal kits for the car in case of Snow Storms which tickled me.

Also (blush) I bought a 210 Litre water butt in Wilkinsons yesterday for £7. I estimate it will provide the 3 of us and the 2 mutts with clean drinking water for 3 weeks. Having said that, I'm going to have to be more circumspect. My daughter is starting to get quite worried laugh.gif
