I caught this last night and was quite surprised, it was good! laugh.gif

Jane, the one with the bright red hair, investigated UFOs

she spoke to people in USA and in UK, mainly around the Yorkshire area about animal mutilations, did you know that humans have also been found dead with the same surgical incisions! ohmy.gif
and a man was found in the north of England dead, with strange burn marks around his neck and forehead, he had been missing for 5 days and turned up on a coal heap 30 miles away! still clean shaven but minus his shirt!!!
the police were told not to investigate and a few weeks later in the same spot a police officer show what only can be described as a UFO! he was asked to report it by his superior officer as there had been 5 other police officers in the surrounding areas who had reported the same thing!!! ohmy.gif

a gut in America had witnessed something similar and a piece of "metal" fell out of the sky, the authorities were not interested.
the metal was an alloy and managed to xray itself before the xray machine had been switched on!!!
he even took a lie detector test to show his was not telling fibs about what he saw!

it must be true as it was on telly! laugh.gif

next week she is investigating poltiegests

Jane Goldman Investigates
The Dead Talk

The Dead Talk: Writer and journalist Jane Goldman investigates various aspects of the paranormal. This week, Jane explores the latest methods of communicating with the dead using technology, meeting a woman who's recorded the voice of her dead son. Jane travels to America to meet a man who's captured spirit images on film. When she conducts her own experiment in a bid to talk to the dead herself, she receives an eerie warning from the other side.

I saw it Dax and I thought it was well made and interesting. Jane Goldman is a fairly level headed and intelligent woman so there was a quality to the investigation.
My only quibble was that she investigated these strange events with the agenda of finding the truth about aliens. None of these events had any evidence that would suggest beings from another planet were involved. The truth might be even stranger than that so perhaps she would have been wiser to widen her agenda. Something of a non-alien nature might have been missed.
The mutilation business is very strange and frightening. Going to lock the back door now. If I'm not back in 5 minutes call the military ghostface.gif
The Doctor
Sounded great, interesting stuff! I'm sure there's a lot more going on then we ever learn about! wink.gif

We really enjoyed the first series. Knowing about a few things she was investigating (Reiki, Wicca etc) gave it a nice homely touch. However, since the end of the first series we've made some lifestyle changes and find that it's now on way too late for us. Ah well, I'll keep my eye open for the DVD's of the series on Play biggrin.gif

I was a little upset at last nights sad.gif
it was about vodoo

very interesting but they could of given us a warning that they would actually be showing a real animal sacrifice ohmy.gif she said she was going to one but didnt say it would be filmed and shown, I thought it might b one of those "and then they kill the chicken" *camera pans away....pans back after its finished*
oh no, it twas not indeed!
it was heres the chicken and heres its head!! then they dripped the chickens blood into the vodoo juju's mouth, from the body of the chicken, the blood from the head got wiped on a worshippers forehead

OK, I put my hand up, I looked away!

next week is about exocism, so hopefully no blood there! biggrin.gif

I've heard that there's loads of vomit and a priest gets his neck twisted biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
No, I agree Dax, there is a trend at the moment of showing animal deaths on tv without warning. There's a prog on Living tv about city living americans going to live with tribes in Peru or wherever for a week. Whatever country they go to there is always a goat or sheep being shown slaughtered. And they say there's too much 'acted' sex on tv huh.gif
