There were reports today on local and national news about a kangeroo being on the loose in the suburbs of Cardiff. No, I'm not on drugs: its true.
Apparantly there have been a few attempts to catch it but so far, nothing. I wonder if this will go the way of those other out of place animals stories where pumas and panthers are spotted, kill a few things, then disappear, never to be seen again. There have been no pics or video shown so far. I was in Cardiff this morning. I think I would have gone straight to the doctors if I had spotted a kangeroo hopping across the road.
Dax
you might not be on drugs but I heard the Roo was!!! laugh.gif

It looks a bit sick to me, being green and all biggrin.gif Perhaps we should contact that crocodile guy from Australia, I've seen him catch kangeroos. Nasty kick apparantly and thats before they get the boxing gloves on! ohmy.gif
Dax
ummmm Steve Irwin?

he needs to be kicked by a kanga! he asks for it

"streuth have you seen the size of this croc? do you think he bites? golly I wouldnt want to get bit by that brute! lets see what happens if I poke it with this big pointy stick...........sh*t the brute bit me, but it didnt hurt, just a scratch! haha dont ya just love wildlife?"

God I'd piggin bite him if he poked me witha big stick!
and if I was a kangaroo I know exactly where I would kick him! laugh.gif
Eckie
Having watched him with crocs I'll never complain about getting the cats in a carry box again.
Ok its a Wallaby apparantly, here is a pic to prove it........
Dax
did they ever catch him Eckie?
Eckie
What, Steve Irwin? biggrin.gif
No, I've not heard anything since the initial outburst, perhaps it was just an episode of Dr Who being filmed laugh.gif
Cardiff is getting to be very strange recently. I live about 20 miles away in a valley but there were reports in the summer of panthers being seen on the hills near my house. I did see the carcass of a dead sheep in the vicinity too. Proves nothing but there are loads of reports of out of place animals in this country being seen and then disappearing.
Dax
Panthers....like it more than rougue wallabys! laugh.gif

I think there are a few big cats living wild in the UK, but because people dont see them all the time like foxes and rabbits they are easy to dismiss the idea. I just think they are very clever not to be spotted, they are very intellegent creatures biggrin.gif
Morbius
Didn't this turn out to be a mangy fox ?
Ogre
Ok, you guys asked for it.

Steve Irwin was showing a group of tourists around Austrailia Zoo.

To show how he could control the crocs he slapped one between the eyes with a bottle, dropped his shorts and placed his genitalia in the stunned reptiles mouth.

Slapped it again and it closed its mouth ohmy.gif

Slapped it a third time and it released him unharmed.

Turning to the tourists he asked did any of them want to try ?

The tourists fell into a concerned huddle. Then one girl said she'd try it as longs as he promised not to slap her with the bottle ..

Wah Wah Wah Waaaaahhhh

Oh, thats a fine joke Mr Ogre. Still no sign of the mangy wallaby/fox thingy. Send in Dr Who, he's in the area.
