some said it would be the English Buffy, others said not.

well....its about teenagers at a boarding school, a very nice laid back one by the looks of it, boys and girls mixed, all look quite rich and elite.

the heroine is Cassie, a mixed up kid who doesn't quite fit in, has spent along time nursing her ill mother.
he best friend and room mate is Thelma, another kid who orginally appears mixed up also, but Thelma is a strong character and knows what she wants.
Thelma is also deeply in love with Cassie, and some might say Cassie plays on this.

then there is the fallen Angel, Azazeal, who well, not sure if he summoned Cassie or she unknowingly summoned him
a big vodoo theme runs through this, with little flash backs to the days when the school was a manor house in the 1700's.

Cassie has the ability to move things with her mind, blow things up, that sort of thing, and there are a few possible Ghosts (you will see as you get further in)

tonights episode, the pilot if you like, was 1hour and 45 mins, the first hour and 10 mins was mainly taken up with a sexual theme, girls on boys, boys on girls, girls with girls and a lot of porn films!
even the teachers seem to joke with the students about sexual issues!!

I did enjoy it, not for the sex though!
I am looking forward to watching the next one, when hopefully there will be more supernatural happenings!

if you didnt catch it I hope you might be able to see a repeat, as most things on sky are repeated

I'll look for the repeat Dax, I was watching Michael Palin on BBC1. Perhaps it'll be on Sky Mix, from what you've said I think I'll have to tape it....... just in case I need to watch it again in a hurry for some plot point or other

well I wont spoil it for those who have to check up on the "plot lines" but the last episode was tonight and its fair to say its been left open for a new series, well there had better be one as it was that kinda ending!

and YES boys, the theme remained constant thoughout!

was the first episode of the first series very similar to the first episode of the second series?? or was that just me

Seen this title sitting on the shelves in Tesco. I'm wondering whether it's worth renting - still a bit uncertain though. Is it very 'British'? I hope so, I think that the Brits do spooky so well.

not a huge amount of effects that make you go WOW! but theres a bit of suspense and you will be asking questions aafter each episode.

I do enjoy it but I wouldnt be devasted if I missed it if you know what I mean

Well, watched Season 1 now and we like it.

I particularly like Thelma, the central characters best mate. I think she gets some of the best lines and I think I'd find the programme pretty stale if she wasn't in it - I think she helps keep the programme from taking itself too seriously.

Now we have to wait for Season 2 to be available on Tesco DVD rental.

Ho hum, playing with thumbs until then.

Watched all of series two over the past few nights and it was excellent. Much better than series one.

Really enjoyed it - shame it has been cancelled (another one bites the dust). I just don't get it, loads of crap on TV and they cancel all the good programmes!

Ah, well - twas good while it lasted.
