Starring Sarah Michelle Geller. Its a remake of japanese horror Ju-on by the same director and filmed in Japan.
I thought it was like most japanese horror, some excellent weird scary stuff but no coherent plot or character building.

well i watched this in theaters and thought it was the scariest film i have ever seen, but i bought it the other day and re-watched it and thought it was so stupid... Ju-On is better then the grudge!

There were some scary moments, especially where the guard is watching the ghost on the security camera. I haven't seen Ju-on yet. I'm hoping for it to appear on C4 or something. They're showing the Japanese Ring one and two this week.

Ju-On is one freaky outing... had to scoot over to my wife's side of the bed after watching it. Didn't mind "The Grudge", that opening scene was a worthy addition.
