I've been impatiently waiting for Amazon to release Quantum Leap - Series 1 on DVD for a while and watched them all last week - excellent stuff and well recommended if you're a QL fan! Well worth the price of £21.74 direct from Amazon.

Its like waiting for trains is it not? I've heard (on another message board) that there is a new pilot or series of Quantum Leap being made right now. It is said that the jumper is this time a woman, possibly related to the previous guy? Scott Bakula will now be free to join in I assume, now that Enterprise has crashed.

Am I right in believing that the story line for Quantum Leap was taken (even stolen?) from a book published in the early 50's called "Time Liner", author unknown. This was one of the first seriously thought provoking SF books that I read and would love too find another copy of it.
