Whilst watching Tremors Thurdsday, I caught the ad for AERO. A Jean Michel Jarre compilation re-mastered into 5:1 surround...
Bought it Friday, the pack contains both CD & DVD.
Sadly, 'she who must be obeyed' has hidden it for crimbo, I'll let you know what it's like after the 25th (sigh)

I bought Jean Michel Jarre's first 2 albums when they came out at the end of the 70s. I saw the ad too, should be good in surround sound.

The nice guys @ Maplins have a coloured ball light advertised. It cycles through the spectrum or you set it for sound sensitive changes. I'm considering that and an inexpensive 5:1 system, build a chill out/meditation room in the attic. Just me, a flotaki rug, cycling colours and good music. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Oh wow. It's a 5:1 dvd and a cd in one package. Admitedly the visual part of the dvd is naff, the sound is well out there. Wouldn't be able to meditate with it though. The producers have added 'fancies' that would be too distracting. Still a nice earner for anyone wanting to produce relaxation music ? (Hint Hint).

I used to use the twin peaks sound track for relaxation, even if I hear it now I want to doze off
Glad you enjoyed it Ogre
