SCI FI Channel has ordered a second season of its hit series Battlestar Galactica,—it is reported that cast members will return, how many episodes will be produced we do not know as yet, nor when the series is set to be aired either in the states or in the UK .

The show has been a huge hit in the states pulling in viewing figures of well over the 3million mark.

Religious themes are rumoured to be explored more in depth in the up coming series.

I was impressed by the first episode but then missed a few weeks so I could not really get into it again. I'll wait till they repeat it from the start and catch it then.

I wonder if this will be coming out on DVD? It looks interesting!

Looking forward to seeing this - I wonder how it compares to the original? I hope they haven't tried to just 'redo' the old series. Iliked the old series but I would hope they've put a 'today' slant to the programme rather than rehashing stuff - if you know what I mean.
