Thanks Dax. I've entered and had a browse around that site. The replica light sabers look amazing - I'm VERY tempted to buy one. I might take a stroll past the local movie shop and have a closer look at one of these. What have you started.

Well, went to the movie shop and asked to have a closer look at these sabers. I was escorted to a dark room at the back of the shop (Oooer modom) and then let loose with the red saber!

Awesome! I sooo wanted to buy it there and then but I know I could buy some very nice things for Princess Leia with the money so I walked away from it with the knowledge that I could have been a Jedi with a saber if I wanted to.

The Force was with me today.

so how much are those bruts anyway? and what currancy would a jedi use for such a purchase?

£120 each at the shop but the web site that is hosting the competition is selling them for £100 each or £180 (ithink) for the red and the blue one.

Still VERY tempted but I know Princess Leia would appreciate some antique porcelain much more and that would definitely help towards it.

Still, I can dream.

As for Jedi currency, well I suppose I could rescue a few people for the shop owner (if his wife were to be kidnapped or something) or if I were Darth Igor, I don't think asking for permanent credit would be an issue really - unless the shop owner were happy with a limb or two less than he has at hte moment.
