Although I'm not a fan, I once attended a lecture by Mr Pratchett. He was a very amusing chap, full of odd but true stories.

Nothin gwrong with pratchet, thud is cool but he does use and inordinately large stick to batter his message across. i.e. in thud racist comments and challenges.

That sounds like me with the Bellgariad & Mallorean. I have a complete set on my shelves, shrink wrapped ready to break out when my first copies finally wear out.

Crikey not read them since ..... weeeeeeyyyy back. always thought they'd make a good film. Boxed into a corner now I'm sure its the Sir Sparhawk bunch, Although Eddings is the key here right.
Oh Crap here we go of to the shop now to buy them again.

My pet failing never realised the books have titles, I just get stuck into them. Like that series about the leper. read them all haven't a clue, every publishers nightmare. 'Hello Mr Book salesperson do you have the one about ....................'

I remember Stephen Donaldson. Hah now what were they called. Woops to many chemicals again.
Ogre
Ah.... The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant.. The Unbeliever..... Truly a series where the word 'Turgid' can be used without fear of prosecution laugh.gif
