Well, I'm not sure what to say about this film.
I think 'interesting' sums it up. I don't want to be mean, partly because it was an absolutely amazing effort over 7 years to make what I thought was a technically brilliant film considering they were operating on a zero budget, using a lot of blue screen techniques (they used blue lino!), basically worked out of the directors living room using any computers he could get his hands on and also because the film is free. 10 out of 10 for effort and I thought the music was well edited into the film as well.
I think it's not my cup of tea because I felt the humour digs at Star Trek to such a degree that I actually wondered if they hated ST

but now I've had a look at their earlier efforts from the early 1990's (animations) and I can see how their versions of humour and parody has developed over the years, I can see where they are coming from to a degree now.

Bottom line I suppose is I find the humour pretty coarse and juvenile but there you go, that's just me I suppose. As it's been downloaded several hundred thousand times and has had thumbs up from all over the place it looks like my views will remain pretty much unique.
Regardless of what I thought of it, I would still recommend any sci-fi fan watch this - apart from anything else, I'm still in awe over what they have achieved with no money, limited resources and lots of will power. Absolutely brilliant from that aspect.
If you want to download their earlier efforts,
here they are but be warned, they are pretty crudely done (although they have their funny moments) and will not be everyones cup of tea.
