Hi Shari20,

Books that spring to mind at the moment are yes, War of the Worlds, Time Machine, Time Ships, Blood Music, any Michael Marshall Smith stuff.

To be honest, most of the books in the cave are Fantasy.

Where I have SF it's 'Golden Age' stuff.. Most of Heinleins works, E.E. Smiths books from the 20's & 30's... The Sky Lark of Space, Sub Space Explorers, pretty racy stuff for its time if. Anything by Niven & Pournell (go on I'll include Barnes in there). David Brins earlier uplift books before he lost the plot and started to churn out Brightness Reef et all. McCafferys Talents of Earth Series. And finally wosernames Intervention Saga (including the Pliocene books).

But my fave single book has to be Legacy Of Herot...

You've caught my habit Ogre, name amnesia! Julian May I think you are refering to. Good books but a bit 'stodgy' to read.

Funnily enough I do suffer a mild form of Anomia.

It makes teaching Reiki & Meditation classes interesting. But thats another, damn, made up thing out of a book...... wink.gif
