do you do anything a little odd to bring the new year in?

I have been known to open the doors, kick the old year out the back and invite the new year in the front.

I can't say that my New Year will be unusual, fairly traditional I suppose. Getting drunk in town and hoping to kiss a lot of women. Call me old fashioned!

I normally throw a BBQ. Plenty of food, lots of ale, enough fireworks to disturb Morbius. This year ? just couldn't be arsed. Don't like doing the 'town' thing as I find I can't relax in a crowd environment. I need to be with people I trust before I'm willing to 'let my hair down'.. Then again, my official New Years eve is Oct 31st anyway. (go figure)
