Gordon Smith visits Leeds

After keeping my ticket safe for 4 months the day finally arrived when the psychic barber, Gordon Smith visited Leeds.

The seventh son of a seventh son he was indeed what I had been promised.

He gave a brief introduction and talked about his beliefs of the spirit world and didn’t, unlike many other mediums, talk about how good he was, so I can honestly say he is a modest man from what I saw of him.

The spirits then started to talk to him and he managed to talk to a least 5 audience members during each half of the show. You might not think 5 was very many but he gave a lot of detail to each person and things they could relate to. It was not a case of “I have an older woman …is she your granny!” It was more of “I have a man here, his name is… you know him…..he is connected to you because…. He talks about the day you did so and so….” Etc

To start the second half of the show he did a question and answer session, which was hilarious due to the nature of the Yorkshire crowd, we tell it how it is up here you know!
Not only did the crowd provide amusement, but his responses where just as entertaining and he was quick of the mark with his answers showing a true wit and sense of humour.

He admits he doesn’t have the answers for everything and when pushed on one question his response was “you can’t blame spirits for everything, face it, some times life is crap!”

Some of the most memorable readings he did in my eyes were; when he asked one chap to look out for twins….. “I don’t know any twins” was the first reply, “No I said look out for twins” said Mr Smith…….pause from the audience, then “Oh my God my daughter is pregnant!” followed by laughter from the stage and applause from the crowd.

The other one for me was quite bizarre due to the nature of what he was saying and the response he received.
I have not included all details here to protect the families who received the reading.
“I have a child here who passed with a certain illness” (this illness is not very common)
Two hands shot up from different parts of the theatre.
“OK” says Gordon Smith “I will try to get more for you as I want it to go to the right person…..the child was of this sex” again both hands remained up
“The child was this age when they passed”
Both hands stayed up
“OK” he says looking as shocked as the rest of us “this happened x amount of years ago”
You guessed it both families still had hands up
“I have never had this happen before!” he said “we will keep trying……ok the child is holding something in their hands and it is this colour, it looks like a xxxx”
Finally one family said”yes, they were buried with that item” you could hear the relief going around the room.
But how strange was that? That two families had practically the same circumstances!! I was truly impressed.

Did I get a reading? No.
Did I mind? No I didn’t, but I had not gone to see him expecting to receive any messages.
Other audience members however were clearly gutted as they had not had word from the other side and left looking disappointed and in some cases angry, muttering about waste of money etc. Bit realistically out of over two hundred people the chances are he is not going to get to you.

So what did I go home with?
I had enjoyed an evening out, seeing a great medium at work and I also went home with a signed copy of his book and a photo of him on my phone.Sadly one of the pics didnt come out very well, believe it or not and you might not or just think I am potty, his face was completly white...bright white like a phantom glow almost!! I will try to get them on here some how

Would I do it again?
You bet I would!

I would like to see him. I watched on TV a couple of times (not just on MH) and he seems to be trained the same way as my hubby is being trained. very understated and just says what he sees.
