I caught Sword of the Valient on tv yesterday and ended up watching the whole thing as I couldn't believe how bad it was From the tinny, slightly wonky tape of score to the tinny sound, bad acting and bad wigs it was hilarious. Unbelievably, Sean Connery was in it The only stereotype missing was the dragon quest. In fact, I truley suspect this was where the Monty Python team got their screenplay for the Holy Grail
It got me wondering....was this the worst fantasy film ever, or do you know better?

I dont know, I mean some of the older films you thought wow! when they were first released and now you waatch them again and think NO how dreadful!

I will have to think for a bit about which is the worst, I tohught some of the superman films were a bit naff to be honest!

Get involved in a hobby for around 20 years. Discover that there's a film being made. Get all excited... Then go and see Bludgeons & Flagons the movie. I was nearly escorted out for booing. My heart broke for all the LRPers in full costume in the front two rows.

There are a lot of bad Italian sci-fi/fantasy movies that were made after Star Wars became big but made on tiny budgets. The hideous dubbing doesn't help either
