I saw this in the sky mag and am rather looking forward to it! thumbup1.gif
Ogre
Okaaaaay. I seem to have screwed this up. Sky site was giving me Crimbo & Boxing Day. But NTL is advertising it for the 13th.

Anyone got better info than I ?

Ogre
Morbius
I've heard its the 17th and 18th December on Sky One - I'll have to try and dig out the latest Sky magazine to make sure.
Ogre
Ta Ducks

Ogre
Dax
Yes Morbuis is correct wink.gif

there is a "how we made it" on tomorrow night sky one (Sunday 10th)
Ogre
Well, I enjoyed 'the making of'. Pleased to see they even had the dreaded 'eater of socks' in one clip. My only peeve so far is that Death didn't have an articulated jaw. But I can see the reasons why not.

Looks like a treat for me next week smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Dax
got around to watching last night and it does look good smile.gif sky now set for the weekend ! thumbup1.gif
Ogre
And ....... ?

I must admit I sat there making contented little 'ook' noises. The only thing that has jarred so far was the annoying nasal tenor of one of the auditors. If you must be a supernatural entity then do it with some gusto rolleyes.gif

How was it for you ?

Ogre
Dax
Going to watch it later tonight smile.gif looking forward to it, thought I would curl up on the sofa with a mug of hot choccie, fire blaring hot (freezing fog here tonight) and the surround sound on max! laugh.gif
and the joy of sky plus is you can wind the adverts on thumbup1.gif

I will come back later and tell you what I thought smile.gif
Ogre
smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif ook, ook smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Ogre
Dax
take it you enjoyed it then! laugh.gif

I did think the first part was a little disjointed in areas sad.gif but then again TP does write a little that way, backwards and forwards around the characters.

I did enjoy it very muchly though thumbup1.gif

loved it when Hex asked for a Hogwatch pressie! laugh.gif and the eater of socks too! wink.gif

the guy who played Death is appartently a 6'7 Dutchman!
Dax
oh yes and did you know that Mark Warren who played Mr tea time had just watched Charlie and the chocolate factory with Johnny Depp and thats why he did the voice the way he did!

two bits of trivia in one day! Gosh! laugh.gif
Ogre
Gosh Dax, anyone would think you'd watched 'the making of' dry.gif smile.gif

Disjointed ? hmmm, he did have a habit of interweaving two stories, usually one comic and one tragic (Reaperman/Wiches Abroad) but when you've read the damn things as often as I have you tend to paper over the cracks unless they realy jar.

Of course, now the filming cherry has been plucked (cough) I'm wondering what's going to be next ? How him going the George Lucas path and doing Thief of Time next, and then Mort and Reaperman ?

Thoughts ?

Ogre
Yoda's ears
Mort would be good smile.gif
Dax

I am sure the flood gates will now open and loads of disc worlds will be made smile.gif
