I saw this last night on dvd............. it's kind of sci-fi. Keanu Reeves plays a guy moving into a lake house, Sandra Bullock has just moved out. They begin to leave notes to each other in the post box outside and fall for each other. The strange thing is........... she's living in 2006 and he's living two years in the past.
A strange idea that could have done with a little more plot. There is a twist at the end that saves the movie from becoming predictable. An evenings entertainment only I think.

the strangest thing you know,
I mentioned the fact that Eckie had mentioned the lake house to my other half and he said, Yeah I bought that on DVD just before Christmas!!

So I watched it today (nothing else to do as it was raining and cold)

and it was very good, it is a bit of a chick flick in the romance department but a jolly good film

Dax, perhaps hubby forgot he was keeping it for Valentines Day
It reminded me of the Time Travellers Wife too.
