Full Version: Girl Genius On Line Comic
Sci-Fi Spectrum > Books & Literature > Sci Fi Reads
Ogre
I've had this on line comic bookmarked for a few months now. But only got around to reading it last night. Can I say what a treasure this is.

Set in an alternative 18th Century Europe where 'sparks' are creative mechanical geniuses this involves the tale of Agatha Clay, a young lab assistant and her adventures.

Psyhotic Clockworks, Menacing Barons, Otherworld invasions, Stiff upper lips, Alien troopers, this is a total treat.

Althought the series starts off monochrome the detail is rich enough to hold your attention and when the colour kicks in 'Oy Vey'.

The characters are nicely thought (and in some instances fought) out and the characterisations are wonderful Eg the 'Hero' who keeps trying to rescue Agatha and recruit her as his 'sidekick' not willing to believe she's sooo much more intelligent than him.

There are about 2 years of back issues here, so if you want to kill an hour giggling at your screen you could do much worse thatn follow this link
