Just caught this on DVD and I thought it was really good. Its a British film directed by Danny Boyle of Trainspotting and 28 Days Later fame.
The plot is set some time in the future when the sun is dying. A ship is sent there with atomic weaponry to kick start the failing star. Problem is this is the second mission as the first went missing. They then come upon the original ship and.............. well see the film.
The effects are brilliant and the directing and set design is mesmerising. Go rent or buy, go on.
