So, series one has ended. What did you think of the follow up to Life on Mars ?

Personally I loathed it. Where life on Mars was innovative, Ashes to Ashes was trite. Yes it was fun to see Gene Hunt and the rest of the mob, but did anyone give a toss about what happened to Alex ? Where Tyler introduced new policing methods (or tried to ) Whatsherface spent her time as eye candy in a silly jacket. And why for Ghu's sake did no one pick up on the fact that she constantly referred to people as 'imaginary'.

Just one Ogre's opinion, but I'll not be holding my breath waiting for series 2.

I havent got around to watching life on mars yet, so maybe I will find that better, we will see

Okay.. I watched the last half hour of the last episode last night. I confess, I enjoyed it. Good rationale behind everything. Explained a few things to me. Really did like the last few seconds.

I loved it! a nice tidy ending ............series didnt drag on until we were fed up of it and yes some questions were answered. a big thumbs up from me (and I only cried a little bit )
