Ok, our Derek from Most Haunted seems to be very good at this medium stuff. He comes up with a lot of names and facts that are proved true later. Does anyone think he might have some other insite into the facts that are not psychic in origin? Is he genuine? Does he get possessed by spirits?
I'm on the fence on this, he seems to be a great guy and very genuine but I have this nagging suspiscion.........

the most haunted I watched last night was good

because.....you can not get the information on the house history on the internet or books, the history seems to be passed down throught he owners of the house

he picked up on the fact there were secret tunnels and a gay priest had been crucified in the lounge!!!! ohmy.gif

I do like him though know others who have strong doubts

I guess any "medium" has some amount of guess work, its nice to think he doesnt though!!

I have to say, I do really like the bloke. I hope he is genuine but like Eckie always have my doubts. There are just too many fraudsters to be 100% sure. If I met him not pre-arranged and came out with something that he couldn't possibly know about me or my family history, then I would probably know for sure. But what are the chances of that happening. laugh.gif

Still makes for good viewing.

I agree. I think it is amazing watching him - i remember him gettin possessed i cant remember where they were but the look in his eyes was enough to convince me when it happened - it was a really nasty one. He was also salivating.

I hope he is genuine and i do think he is, i will be seeing another psycic/medium just like him at work on saturday night on the ghosts-uk investigation in wales - so will get to see it with my own eyes !

I think Derek believes what he is doing is real. As long as he doesn't earn lots of money by what he does, he's ok in my book.

Apparantly he used to be a professional footballer ohmy.gif I wonder if he 'knew' where the ball would go next?

I've heard this too Eckie, apparently he used to freak out the other players. One of them had bought a nice new red car and he said that the player/owner would smash it up, which he did. Spooky!
Eckie
He must be tough to have as a friend, he'll be telling you all sorts and frightening the **** out of you biggrin.gif I'd rather see the future as it becomes the present, there would be no fun in reading books if you knew the outcome before you started and its the same with life. IMHO
shadow
I agree Eckie but could come in handy with the lottery. wink.gif

On a more serious note I think some mediums do a lot of good, regardless of them being genuine or not, providing they don't abuse people and rob them of their money, they can help a lot of people who are mourning for the loss of a loved one. Particularly if they had been taken so young, or suffered badly, its gives their loved ones left behind a sense that they are happy and not in any pain etc.

Still thats just my opinion!

Yes I agree there too, as long as they don't charge money for profit I think it can be beneficial for some people who have lost loved ones to hear comforting messages.
I can't get this thought out of my head.......... Derek in his footy shorts on the pitch looking intense and saying, Sam where's me ball? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I dunno, he seems to be a damn good psycometrist and a luke warm medium with a 'Television' personality.

Then again, when I was attending mediumship classes psycometry was the first discipline to be taught.

(Although they'd have lasted longer if they taught 'don't attack other students belief systems' as their first discipline wink.gif
