So anyone else watch this UK take on the 'Buffster' ?

We watch it on a Sunday night (because Saturday is so dire) But like so many others its just unable to remain true to its precedents. Ok, I'll get my head around (portentious music) the Last of The Van Helsings with an American Uncle (who I'm still waiting to hear scream " You are surrounded by armed bastards!!") Hoody supernatural thugs. A girlfriend who can see there's a war on but just shrugs it off (innit?) But they blew it last week with some runaway laying out Mina Harker with a paperweight.

They've already given hints that Mina is the 'original' (ie Jonathan's wife ) and is therefore a Vampire. Sorry, but when it comes to a seduced half mad runaway armed with an ornament and a vamp, no prizes to guess where this Ogre's cash goes..

Sigh.

Its the AVP Requiem farce all over again.
