Terry Goodkinds D'Haran books have made it to TV then. Caught episode 1 of Legend of the Seeker on Sci Fi last week. Now recording the series.

Not too bad a start, although it helps if you've read the books to get the deeper story.

They CGI'd a Gar, but I'll be interested to see how they cope with Gratch. Chase was there, but not the weapon toting 'Tank' I expected. I'm going to look forward to seeing how they cope with Scarlet.

Also, considering some of the extreme Sadism exhibited by the Mord-sith I wonder if they'll just gloss over that part of the story.

We'll see.

Ah Poo.... I think they've decided to kick out most of the books and just use the bit's they want. I turned off yesterday in the middle of an episode. Tried to explain to my family that it's like watching Winnie the Pooh, where they've got rid of Eeyore, Piglet deals drugs and they dumped the 100 acre wood for the mean city streets.
