Set in 7th Century Norway it's another re-telling of Herot. The main antagonist had some cool touches. (think terrestial reptillian Angler Fish with a bad attitude and a hangover).
Like the method for learning Norse and the 'subtle' fact that Earth is a failed seed colony, and really glad the makers were bothered about showing the after effects. However. I had to step out for a quick metaphorical breather when the protagonist and his doughty band decided to make better weapons by forging space hull in a wood forge.
Hmmmm try it as a no brainer.
