did any of you guys see the pictures of the Hampton Court ghost?

I saw the pictures in the paper and read the blurb and thought yeah, could be
I saw the cctv pictures and was sure to start with as the "ghost" came out, but it was a bit clever how it shut the fire doors behind him/her

people are saying it was Henry VIII but to me it looked like a lady, not chubby enough for Henry either.

I'm not convinced its genuine, but looks pretty good though.

I agree it does look like a woman, but as I don't have me glasses on, I'm not the best judge!

I was impressed at first but I was put off for a number of reasons. The incident was recorded in October, bringing Halloween to mind. The staff only described how the figure opened and shut the door, no mention was made of what it did next, did it fade away or walk off frame? I would like to see the actual footage not just stills. Anyone know if it has been shown on any news channels?

it was shown on beeb one this morning.

the doors opened by them selves then for a few seconds it looked like there was no one there and then a figure appeared

with cctv, its often in time frames, so the picture was a bit jerky and dis-jointed,

the weird thing was this "ghost" then grabbed hold of the *push* bars and closed the door! I would of thought a ghost didnt need to actually shut a door, it just looked too human, if you know what I mean.

I thought the spectre might of vanished into air before closing the doors!

I hope you get chance to see the footage, I am sure it wont be too long before it floats round the internet, I hope to see it again myself to have another look!

Im not sure what to make of it - It looks like someone in a big coat - Someone heard somewhere it was Catherine of Aragon but i dont believe that for a sec - a good debate on the hampton court ghost can be found at www.ukwitch.net some good points get raised.
Magenta thinks its a man - thing is it doesn't have to be someone famous - it could be anyone that worked there in all those years - the press like to dress things up i things up - did anyone else hear it was supposedly catherine?
